Median
nominal monthly wage in Armenia in 2011 was AMD 115,265, a 5.9% increase from
2010, according to the latest numbers, released by the National Statistical
Service. It said public sector median wage was 93,215 drams, which was 6.4%
higher than in 2010. Private sector wage amounted to AMD 141,206, a 3.9%
increase from 2010. The median monthly salary in December 2011 was AMD
144,285, which was 5.5% higher from a year earlier, and 26.5% higher compared
with 2011 November.
